Lots of kids have already come and told Santa what's on their Christmas list this year. The Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum's first three "Santa on the Carrousel" events have given hundreds of children and their parents a fun-filled afternoon of crafts, snacks, performances and, of course, carrousel rides with St. Nick himself.

If you haven't come yet, it's not too late: the program is offered one more time this coming Saturday, Dec. 17. Stop in from noon to 3 p.m. for fun, festive activities, including decorating your own stocking, making a holiday ornament, and coloring a picture for Santa. Warm up with some hot chocolate and s'mores, and hop on the historic 1916 carrousel for a ride with Santa.

An extra highlight of the afternoon is storyteller Lorna Czarnota sharing heartwarming holiday stories as Mrs. Claus at 1 p.m.

Tickets are $5 per person (no coupons or passes accepted). The museum is located at 180 Thompson St., North Tonawanda. For more information, call 716-693-1885.

Note: The "Lunch with Santa" portion of this program at 11 a.m. is sold out. The museum will open to the public for the activities described above at noon; no advance tickets or reservations are needed for the afternoon activities.
