Representatives from Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Buffalo and Tops Friendly Markets today announced a customer-driven fundraising campaign to raise funds for patient quality-of-life programs at Roswell Park Cancer Institute.

Buffalo Sabres legend Mike Robitaille was on hand for the announcement and helped representatives from Coca-Cola and Tops give away a year's supply of Coke to one lucky shopper.

Effective immediately, a portion of proceeds from the sale of two-liters of Coke products at Tops Friendly Markets locations throughout Western New York will be donated to Roswell Park. The campaign will run through Feb. 29, 2012.

According to Roswell officials, the campaign is another example of the dedication to Roswell Park demonstrated by both Coca-Cola of Buffalo and Tops Friendly Markets. Coca-Cola also provides generous in-kind donations of products for Roswell Park events, including The Ride For Roswell and Cancer Survivors Day. In addition to hosting the annual Tops 5K/10K with Team Cure Challenge, Tops also steps up to donate food and beverage items to events including the "Bosom Buddies Walk" and "All Star Night."
