Theatre in the Mist presents 'Christmas Belles'

"Christmas Belles" will ring in the December season on the Stella Niagara stage in Lewiston. This rollicking comedy, presented by Theatre in the Mist, brings Fayro, Texas, to the forefront as the Futrelle sisters try to bring an updated Christmas program to the Tabernacle of the Lamb.

The cast, directed by Jack Agugliaro, brings an array of characters to life: Honey Raye, trying to direct a successful show to erase a tarnished reputation; Frankie, overdue with her second set of twins; and Twink Futrelle, the convict sister who was jailed for inadvertently burning down half the town. This hilarious comedy follows the Futrelle holiday journey through a misadventure-filled Christmas Eve.

"Christmas Belles" is on stage at 2 p.m. Sundays, Dec. 4 and 11, and at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 9 and 10.
