USMC officers meet at Marine Corps Ball

Town of Lewiston resident U.S Marine Corps Capt. Andrew Broderick (right), was among those who had an opportunity to spend some time with USMC Sgt. Maj. Michael Barrett, who was born and raised in Youngstown, during the top-ranking Marine's visit to the Niagara County area in September.

Broderick, a helicopter pilot who has served four deployments in Kuwait, Iraq, Afghanistan, North Africa and Bangladesh, is currently stationed in Syracuse, where he resides with his wife, Amy. He visited with Barrett at the Marine Corps Ball held in Niagara Falls. The son of David, a Marine who lives in Lewiston, and Jane Broderick, he is a graduate of Lewiston-Porter High School and the University at Buffalo.
