The winter season is just around the corner, but the Seneca casinos are already "thinking spring" for entertainment. Blockbuster performances by Chicago, Regis Philbin, Loretta Lynn, The Moody Blues, Englebert Humperdinck and Travis Tritt are booked for March through June 2012.
Philbin, fresh off a break from "LlVE! with Regis and Kelly," resumes his other passion -- singing -- with a trip to Seneca Niagara Events Center on March 2 for an 8 p.m. show. Philbin will be accompanied by a 22-piece orchestra to perform standards such as "You Make Me Feel So Young" and "It Had to Be You." Tickets start at $40 and go on sale at noon on Monday, Dec. 5.
Country sensation Travis Tritt brings his solo-acoustic tour to Seneca Allegany Events Center for a 5 p.m. show on March 25. Tritt's performance will give the audience an intimate experience and tell the stories behind hit songs such as "Can I Trust You with My Heart" and "Foolish Pride." Tickets start at $25 and go on sale at noon on Monday, Dec. 26.
British rock band The Moody Blues visits Seneca Niagara Events Center on April 21 at 8 p.m. as part of its continuing U.S. tour. The group is one of the world's top-grossing album and touring bands, and has sold more than 70 million albums worldwide - including 14 platinum and gold records. Hits include "Nights in White Satin," "The Voice," "Your Wildest Dreams" and "I Know You're Out There Somewhere." Tickets start at $65 and go on sale at noon on Jan. 23.
Another one of the world's longest-running and most successful rock bands of all time, Chicago, visits Seneca Niagara Events Center on May 5 for an 8 p.m. performance. Tickets start at $56 and go on sale at noon on Feb. 6. The band has charted five No. 1 albums and 21 Top 10 hits since forming in 1967 - such as "If You Leave Me Now," "You're the Inspiration," "Beginnings," "Saturday in the Park," "Hard to Say I'm Sorry," "Look Away" and "Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?"
Still touring strong at age 75, British pop singer Englebert Humperdinck comes to Seneca Niagara Events Center for a May 19 performance at 8 p.m. Throughout his career, Humperdinck received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, won a Golden Globe for "Entertainer of the Year" (1988) and earned four Grammy nominations. Some of his highest-charting hits among his 63 gold and 24 platinum records include "Release Me (And Let Me Love Again)," "After the Lovin'" and "The Last Waltz." Tickets start at $45 and go on sale Feb. 20 at noon.
A blockbuster country show is booked just before the start of summer, as Loretta Lynn takes the stage at Seneca Allegany Events Center on June 10. Tickets for the 5 p.m. show start at $35 and go on sale March 26 at noon. The legendary singer achieved 16 No. 1 hits in the U.S. throughout her five-decade career, including "Coal Miner's Daughter," "Don't Come Home A' Drinkin' (With Lovin' on Your Mind)" and "Fist City."
