Joe Petrozzi and his son Russ of Capitol Cleaners are again collecting, cleaning and giving gently used coats and other winter wear to the needy families in Western New York. The days for distribution to the community are Saturday, Nov. 5, and Saturday, Dec. 3, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Back in 1966, the senior Petrozzi saw a need for children in Niagara Falls to have good, warm coats. In subsequent years, the program expanded to include hats, gloves, scarves and garments for adults.

"We call it "Coats 4 Kids" because that's how it started," Joe Petrozzi stated. "We now have families come in, and we take care of the whole family."

Warm coats are needed for infants and children to 18 years old. Adult sizes are required for older children.

Drop off your gently used garments at 1227 Main St., Niagara Falls, during regular business hours. For more information, call 282-7971.
