Chris Castellani, Supermarket Liquors and Wines step forward as presenting sponsor

The Historical Association of Lewiston announces tickets are now on sale for its seventh annual Tour of Homes, scheduled for Dec. 3 and 4 in Lewiston. Chris Castellani, Lewiston resident and owner of Supermarket Liquors and Wines, has stepped forward as the presenting sponsor of this event.

The theme for the 2011 Tour of Homes is "Christmas Through the Years." It will feature five homes of various vintages, spanning nearly two centuries. Each will be dressed in holiday finery by Western New York's most notable designers and retailers. Each home will also feature at least two tablescapes offering inspiring holiday decorating ideas.

According to event co-coordinator Sandy Hays Mies, "This is a great opportunity to see inside of some of Lewiston's most fabulous private homes. Ticket holders are sure to be inspired by the creativity of our designers and tablescape artists."

This is a self-guided tour. Trolley service will also be available for the pleasure of guests, compliments of Great Lakes Real Estate.

In addition to being able to see these spectacular homes - some open for the first time - ticket holders will be treated to a dessert sampling reception at the Barton Hill Hotel & Spa, featuring sweets from DiCamillo Bakery and the Village Bake Shoppe. And guests will receive a poinsettia cocktail, compliments of Supermarket Liquors & Wines and Wegmans - Niagara Falls.

Tickets are $25 and are available online at www.LewistonHomeTour.com or by calling 716-754-4214.

Bruce Sutherland, president of the Historical Association board of trustees, said, "This is our signature fundraiser.
