Tim Richard Jordan entered into rest on Tuesday, Oct. 18. He was 62.
A resident of Grand Island, Jordan was the husband of Robin (Kranzmann-Scheuing) Jordan; the stepfather of Christine (Joseph) Scheuing-Torregrossa and Jessice (Gordon) Scheuing-BlackCloud; and grandfather of Mia and Anthony Torregrossa, Alyssa and Alyson BlackCloud. He was the son of Evelyn (Bell) and the late Clement P. Jordan, brother of Ruth (Larry) Day, and brother-in-law of Scott Kranzmann. Many nieces and nephews also survive him.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 21, at the Kaiser Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Buffalo. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Grand Island.
Jordan was a volunteer fireman at the Lewiston No. 2 Volunteer Fire Co. and a life member and volunteer fireman with the Grand Island Fire Co. He was an EMT and extraction instructor for Erie County and New York state. He worked at HSBC as an IT analyst for 22 years and retired in July 2008. He then was a safety instructor at Shaw, Stone and Webster in West Virginia.
