Dr. Katherine Bunting-Howarth will share her knowledge of "The Wonders of Water: From the Great Lakes to the Ocean" in a special Sea Views presentation at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 20, at the Aquarium of Niagara.
The program will be held in the Aquarium of Niagara's Community Room on the second level. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
Bunting-Howarth will discuss topics including the Asian carp invasion, overfishing and other environmental threats to waterways. She is involved in research and extension programs supported by New York Sea Grant. She is both director of the state sea grant program and assistant director of Cornell Cooperative Extension - coastal programs. Joining her will be Helen M. Domske, area New York Sea Grant educator from the University at Buffalo.
