NBC announced today that Emmy-nominated talk show "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" will pack up and travel to the Midwest for sports' biggest event of the year, Super Bowl XLVI. In its regular 12:35 a.m. time slot, "Late Night" will air from Indianapolis Wednesday, Feb. 1, Thursday, Feb. 2, and Friday, Feb. 3, 2012.
Also, for the first time ever, the show will broadcast live on Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 5, following NBC's broadcast of Super Bowl XLVI, the season two premiere of NBC's hit competition series "The Voice" and the NBC stations' late local news.
"Late Night" will setup its stage from the Hilbert Circle Theatre, home of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, for four nights of laughs in Indianapolis. Fallon will also bring along his acclaimed house band "The Roots."
