Niagara Parks Police, Niagara Falls Fire Department, Niagara Regional Police and Niagara Emergency Medical Service were summoned to the brink of the Horseshoe Falls Saturday night in response to reports of a person over the retaining wall near the water.
Upon arrival, a Niagara Parks Police officer observed a female sitting on the grass on the river side of the retaining wall approximately 30 metres above the Canadian Falls. The officer continued to talk with the female while members of the Niagara Parks Police High Angle River Team gained access to the shore near the female.
