The following incidents occurred from Aug. 15 to 21, as reported by the Grand Island Fire Co. A total of 25 calls were answered by the department during this period. The GIFC has now responded to 994 calls so far this year.

Monday, Aug. 15

•12:44 a.m., Baseline Road, fire call - alarm malfunction.

•9:51 a.m., Wallace Drive, first aid - medical call.

•1:07 p.m., Grand Island Boulevard, first aid - medical call.

Tuesday, Aug. 16

•12:26 a.m., Baseline Road, fire call - alarm malfunction.

•11:06 a.m., Staley Road, first aid - trauma call.

•6:38 p.m., Stony Point Road, first aid - medical call.

•8:29 p.m., Baseline Road, fire call - malicious false alarm. Avoidable.

Wednesday, Aug. 17

•7:53 a.m., Whitehaven Road, first aid - trauma call.

•3:35 p.m., Pin Oak Circle, fire call - carbon monoxide investigation.

•4:29 p.m., Baseline Road, fire call - alarm malfunction. Avoidable.

Thursday, Aug. 18

•3:45 a.m., Alt Boulevard, first aid - medical call.

•9:17 a.m., Oakridge Road, first aid - medical call.

•9:41 a.m., Long Road, first aid - trauma call.
