Niagara County Sheriff's Office Reports (Tribune area) for Aug. 11, 2011

The following is a sampling of calls taken by the Niagara County Sheriff's Office in Wheatfield and Town of Niagara from July 18 to 28.

Monday, July 18

•2490 River Road, Wheatfield, follow up. Patrol was called to address a possible assault. However, the issue was already handled.

•3600 Block of Haseley Drive, Town of Niagara, domestic problem. Complainants notified police that their bipolar son had choked them.

•Military Road, Town of Niagara, hit and run. A two-vehicle accident occurred at the location. Upon sheriff's arrival, only one car was in the road.

Tuesday, July 19

•6870 block of Nicki's Lane, Wheatfield, fight. Patrol was notified that a man entered the location looking to murder someone.

•6990 block of Sy Road, Wheatfield, burglary. A complainant reported that two weed wackers, a leaf blower and a chain saw were stolen.

•3310 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard, Wheatfield, welfare check. Patrol checked the welfare of a dog left in a vehicle at the location. The vehicle was also improperly parked in a handicapped spot.

•2960 block of Lockport Road, Town of Niagara, assist fire department and EMS. A female fell off her bike.

Wednesday, July 20

•2900 block of Krueger Road, Wheatfield, criminal mischief. A mailbox was destroyed and car parts were strewn around the street.

•2820 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard, Wheatfield, welfare check. Police checked the welfare of a man walking around the area in a blood stained hospital gown.

•6600 block of Woodside Place, Town of Niagara, criminal impersonation. A suspect was possibly impersonating an emergency vehicle.

•2740 block of Military Road, Town of Niagara, aggravated harassment. A complainant notified patrol that she was receiving harassing calls from her ex-partner.

Thursday, July 21

•3700 block of Sage Court, Wheatfield, juvenile problem. Landscaping reported damaged near pond.

•6400 block of Nash Road, Wheatfield, ATV problem. Caller reported chasing a yellow ATV and a gray ATV down Errick Road.

•5000 block of Isherwood Drive, Town of Niagara, standby. Police stayed with a complainant while she picked up her belongings from her former roommate.

•8520 block of Porter Road, Town of Niagara, domestic problem. Adults were heard yelling at a crying child.

Friday, July 22

•2900 block of Lockport Road, Wheatfield, harassment. Complainant reported phone scam about winning large sums of money.

•6800 block of Nash Road, Wheatfield, injured animal. Skunk reported.

•3700 block of Lockport Road, Wheatfield, ATV problem. Motorcycles and four-wheelers reported on property.

•6700 block of Packard Road, Town of Niagara, larceny. A bike larceny was reported.

Saturday, July 23

•2900 block of Krueger Road, Wheatfield, assist. Two people reported passed out in a cab.

•6900 block of Deborah Lane, Wheatfield, domestic. An intoxicated 17-year-old hit his mother's car with a bat.

•2310 block of Military Road, Town of Niagara, unwanted person. A manager complained that they had an irate customer on their lot.

•2590 block of Military Road, Town of Niagara, larceny. A blue Jeep Liberty was reported stolen.

Sunday, July 24

•2800 block of Thornwoods Drive, Wheatfield, fireworks. Fireworks reported in area.

•2600 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard, Wheatfield, notification. Large amount of glass reported in the roadway.

•6400 block of Shawnee Road, Wheatfield, stolen vehicle. ATV reported taken from an unlocked shed.

•5510 block of Lockport Road, Town of Niagara, domestic problem. A 16-year-old female was hit in the head after her brother threw an object at her.

•3130 block of Woodland Court, fireworks. A complainant notified police that someone at a house across the street was shooting fireworks.

Monday, July 25

•6600 block of Hunt Street, Wheatfield, prowler. Suspicious person reported walking around outside of home.

•2200 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard, Wheatfield, criminal mischief. Several cars were reported vandalized.

•4800 block of Saunders Settlement Road, Town of Niagara, dog problem. Complainant reports being bitten by a stray dog.

Tuesday, July 26

•Nicki's Lane, Wheatfield, suspicious person. Three kids with backpacks reported going through cars.

•3900 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard, Wheatfield, unwanted person. Irate customer won't leave business.

•2300 block of Lake Mead Road, Wheatfield, criminal mischief. House has been egged twice.

Wednesday, July 27

•2500 block of River Road, Wheatfield, trespass. Vacant building reported entered.

•2500 block of Niagara Road, Wheatfield, criminal mischief. Complainant reported a garden was destroyed.

•Donna Drive, Town of Niagara, shooter. Ongoing problem reported with kids shooting a gun in the woods.

Thursday, July 28

•2500 block of Lockport Road, Wheatfield, burglary. Two four-wheelers reported taken from a garage.

•3700 block of Commerce Court, Wheatfield, unwanted person. Intoxicated male employee threatening others.

•6700 block of Packard Road, Town of Niagara, accident. A 17-year-old pedestrian was reported hit by a car in a business parking lot.

Friday, July 29

•Driftwood Drive, Wheatfield, domestic. An 18-year-old male punched a hole in the wall.

•Christi Lane, Wheatfield, disturbing the peace. Loud music reported coming from street behind Christi.

Saturday, July 30

•7000 block of Witmer Road, Wheatfield, juvenile problem. Two kids reported going down the road blowing off fireworks.

•3600 block of Kelsey Lane, Wheatfield, fireworks. Report of ongoing problem with fireworks from house behind.

•7000 block of Marigold Drive, Wheatfield, suspicious persons. Reports of three males urinating on lawn.

Sunday, July 31

•3300 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard, Wheatfield, fire. Fire reported in kitchen.

•6300 block of Hidden Ridge, Wheatfield, ATV problem. Kids, not wearing helmets, reported riding ATVs on complainant's property.
