The Grand Island Vipers 14U softball team will hold tryouts for its 2012 season. The team is looking for players at all positions, including catcher and pitcher, and will play in the Metro Girls Softball League. Tryouts will be held at Veterans Park, Field 10, at Bedell Road on Grand Island on Thursday, Aug. 11, from 6 to 8 p.m. Registration will start at 6 p.m. and tryouts will start at 6:30 p.m. Contact Jim Myers at 531-2351 or [email protected] with any questions.
