CraigCat is taking the nation by storm. Water lovers are now invited to get their splash on in the Niagara River, Lake Erie, Lake Ontario and nearby regions. CraigCat of Niagara is the area's newest sensation sure to accommodate riders on the water. The sport boat initiates a new level of excursion while traveling in style. A two-seater catamaran, it's ideal for fishing, relaxing, day cruising and enjoying the beautiful waters of the Niagara River.

"The way it looks makes it unique," said dealer owner Ken Knight. "The design rides on a keel of water and handles it wonderfully."

The Niagara company was founded by Knight, a boat enthusiast. It was love at first sight - the sport boat caught his eye online, so he bought one from a showroom in Orlando, inspiring him to open up his own CraigCat business. Knight explained he and brother John, business partners, bought out CraigCat of Western New York from a Buffalo dealer and now are the sole local dealers.

"I fell in love with the little boat and just knew I had to have one," said Knight.

CraigCat offers buyers a choice of five unique models. They include the "Classic," "Ultra-Light," "E2 Elite," "Catch-It" and "Camo."

The "Classic" model promises an exhilarating performance for the casual boater. The lightweight boat is responsive and fun to drive. Prices start at $8,626. The model includes a convertible bimini top, padded bucket seats, storage compartment, full remote and electric key start.

The "Ultra-Light" model is ideal to take all over the world - it's CE certified for Europe. This boat is the latest addition to the company that offers premium cruising at a non-premium price. Starting at just $9,886, "Ultra-Light" has all the cruising essentials to transform a trip into an experience. It includes a four-stroke engine, stick steering system, remote shifting and throttle, electric key start, deluxe seating, splash off and twin 55-watt Halogen docking lights.

The "E2 Elite" model is the queen of the fleet. The boat offers top-of-the-line performance starting at $11,352. Some of the many features are: stainless steel, and removable beverage holders; a large custom full-width fiberglass storage compartment, fishing rod holders, 200-watt Jensen premium sound system equipped with one GB of onboard music storage and a waterproof wireless remote.

The "Catch-It" is ideal for flats fishing, intercoastals, rivers and lakes. Geared for sportsmen and elite fishers, it starts at $12,040. It includes NAV and LED anchor lights, fishing rod holders, twin LED docking lights, raised fishing seats, wing storage racks and an electric trolling motor mount.

Gentlemen, start your engines with the "Camo" model. This boat is ideal for hunters who enjoy comfort and style. Its price starts at $8,889. It features a convertible camouflage bimini top, padded bucket seats, storage compartment and is available in electric models.

"All the models are great," said Knight. "They all have lights, so you can drive at night and sit side-by-side. They're all very safe boats."

No one likes a gas-guzzler. Fortunately, the CraigCat is fuel-efficient. The speedboats blast through the water at speeds of up to 30 mph. Engine models are offered in 20, 25 and 30 horsepower. In addition to being great on gas, it is cost-efficient, too. These boats are offered in electric or hybrid versions at great prices. Small electric boats start at $2,900 and large models range around $13,000, the same price as a middle-to-upper class jet ski. The E2 Hybrid starts at $6,665.

Don't miss out on the fun while soaking up the sun. Demonstrations are being scheduled now.

"I'm happy to demo the boat for customers," Knight said.
