The Niagara Tourism and Convention Corp. is pleased to welcome Ashlee Uckele for a seven-day, six-night stay in Niagara USA, which she won on a June 4, 2010, episode of "The Price is Right."
Last year, the NTCC worked with producers on the popular daytime television game show to compile a unique prize package valued at $2,500, which showcases the unique, one-of-a-kind offerings found in Niagara USA.
"One of the goals of the NTCC is to market the Niagara USA destination on a national level and an appearance on 'The Price is Right' is a major success for our agency," said John Percy, president and CEO of the NTCC. "We are excited and anxious to welcome Ashlee to Niagara USA and expect to highlight the tremendous beauty, excitement and adventure offered here through the attractions, historic and cultural sites she is scheduled to visit."
Ashlee, a resident of Louisville, Ky., won the trip package on "The Price is Right's" "Squeeze Play" game, allowing her and a guest to spend July 2-7 in Niagara USA. In what will be her first visit to the region, Ashlee will be lodged at the Barton Hill Hotel and Spa in Lewiston, and said she is excited to visit one of the natural wonders of the world.
"I couldn't believe that I had made it on to 'The Price is Right,' and having never been to Niagara Falls, it was the perfect prize for me to have won," Ashlee said. "I have been given my agenda for the week and very much look forward to exploring everything offered in the Niagara region."
