During last night's episode of Oxygen's "The Glee Project," the final 10 contenders performed an emotionally charged performance of British band Tears For Fears' "Mad World." Under the guidance of "Glee" guest mentor Dot-Marie Jones ("Glee's" Coach Bieste), the group was coached on the theme of "vulnerability" and using raw emotion in their performances. At the conclusion, "Glee" hopeful Emily Vasquez (22) of New York City was eliminated. Emily was asked to perform Bruno Mars' pop ballad "Grenade" for "Glee" creator Ryan Murphy as a last chance - but the show must go on. ...

The remaining nine contenders will face their next "Glee"-inspired challenge on Sunday, July 10, at 9 p.m. ET/PT when Harry Shum Jr. ("Glee's" Mike Chang) mentors the contenders on their dance moves in "Danceability" week. One contender gets overly confident during the high-octane "Can't Touch This" group number.

Mostly known for his dance moves, Shum has shot to "Glee" fame as the charming Mike Chang, who plays the boyfriend of Tina. Prior to joining the cast of "Glee," Shum has had roles in dance blockbusters such as "You Got Served," "Step Up 2: The Streets," and "Step Up 3D."

From Ryan Murphy, the creator and Emmy-winning executive producer of "Glee," and executive producer of "Glee" Dante Di Loreto, "The Glee Project" is a 10-episode competition series seeking to find the next star of "Glee" and will award one winner with the ultimate prize of a seven-episode role in season three of the hit FOX show.

For fans who want more of the "The Glee Project," Microsoft's search engine Bing is partnering with Oxygen to host the Bing Fan Favorite Contest, allowing fans to vote for their own favorite contenders. Shazam is also partnering with Oxygen to allow viewers to use the Shazam app to unlock exclusive content from each episode of the show. This week, Shazam users will be treated to extended footage from Shum's one-on-one session with the homework assignment winner.

Prior to appearing on "The Glee Project," Emily (22) had been performing for 11 years, both in off-Broadway shows and in Las Vegas. Emily attended LaGuardia High School - New York City's "Fame" school - and prides herself on her training. Her feisty and flirty personality commanded attention while on "The Glee Project" and comes out in the way she performs. Emily auditioned for "The Glee Project" through industry channels.
