Spring has sprung and Niagara Frontier Publications is once again hosting the 10-Mile Garage and Sidewalk Sale, Saturday and Sunday, June 4 and 5, in the towns of Lewiston, Porter, Youngstown, Ransomville and Sanborn. A favorite of businesses and residences for nearly two decades, this event brings in bargain hunters from as far away as Toronto and Rochester.
Cost for participants is $17.35 and applications are now available. Each registered participant will be identified on a regional map to be featured in a center section pullout in the Lewiston-Porter Sentinel, Niagara-Wheatfield Tribune, and Grand Island PennySaver the week of May 28 to June 1. Additional copies of the pullout sections will be available at key locations in the area, and the event will be publicized throughout Western New York and on the Niagara Frontier Publications website, www.wnypapers.com.
Special areas in the pullout section are available for Realtors, restaurant owners and retail merchants to showcase their businesses. Call NFP at 773-7676 to reserve ad space.
Upon registering all participating households will receive a garage sale kit, which contains two fluorescent garage sale signs, self-sticking price tags, a garage sale checklist and tips to make the sale a success.
