Kelly Moje, a member of the Praise Band at Ransomville United Methodist Church, is shown in a recent solo audition at the church, under the direction of Ellie Seib, conductor of the Buffalo Niagara Youth Chorus.

Church spokesperson Ann Kennedy informs that Moje, a junior at Wilson High School, sings as well as plays flute and piano at the church, and is a member of the Fort Niagara Fyfe and Drum Band. She was among a select group of 200 (out of 3,000 who applied) who performed solo in a concert at New York's Carnegie Hall this past February. She was renominated to audition for next year's concert and another Carnegie performance.

Moje is considering majoring in music-related disciplines at Fredonia, University of Berkeley, Niagara University or Westminster Claire College. (photo by Kevin and Dawn Cobello, K&D Action photo)
