The Wheatfield Economic Development Committee will hold its inaugural Speaker Series Lecture on Small Business Tax Issues on Saturday, April 9.
The featured speaker is Steve Jacobson, E.A., assistant district manager at EG Tax. According to Committee Chairman Greg Witul, Jacobson will cover such tax issues as New York state taxes, FICA, and the new health care law.
The event will held at the Wheatfield Community Senior Center, 2800 Church Road, with registration beginning at 6 p.m. and Jacobson taking the podium at 6:30 p.m. This event is aimed to assist local, small businesses, but is free and open to all, Witul said.
