The Niagara River Region Chamber of Commerce will honor nine businesses and individuals at its annual Chamber Awards Gala, Saturday, June 4, at the Niagara Falls Country Club in Lewiston. The event includes an evening of live music, cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and a silent auction followed by a sit-down dinner and awards program. Tickets are available through the Chamber of Commerce office ($75 per person).
The following will be recognized as 2011 chamber honorees:
•Lewiston Business of the Year - Lewiston Village Pub & Restaurant
•Youngstown Business of the Year - Heritage Auto Service and Repair
•Sanborn Business of the Year - Sanborn Market Place (Frank's Market)
•Ransomville Business of the Year - Ransomville Bus Lines Inc.
•Village of Lewiston Citizen of the Year - Richard Hermanson
•Town of Lewiston Citizen of the Year - Town of Lewiston Recreation Program volunteer baseball and softball coaches
•Youngstown Citizen of the Year - Timothy Adamson
•Town of Porter Citizen of the Year - Paul Beatty Sr. and Paul Beatty Jr.
•Chamber of Commerce Chairman's Award - DiMino's Lewiston Market Inc. (Tops)
"The annual Awards Gala is open to the public to attend. The evening is one of the highlights of the year, held to celebrate the business community and those citizens who help contribute to the success of the region," said Chamber of Commerce President Jennifer Pauly.
