Niagara County Sheriff's Office Reports for March 12, 2011

The following is a sampling of calls answered in the towns of Lewiston, Porter and Wilson by the Niagara County Sheriff's Office from Monday, Feb. 14 to Sunday, Feb. 20.

Monday, Feb. 14

•Robert Moses Parkway, Lewiston, reckless driver. Call reported a black Land Rover "all over the road." Plate number logged.

2900 block of Saunders Settlement Road, Lewiston animal problem. Patrol reported a dog was tied up to a trash bin.

•2300 block of Harwood Road, Wilson, trespasser. Patrol reported a black truck at a neighbor's house was possibly involved.

•500 block of Main Street, Wilson, follow-up. Patrol followed up on a stabbing; no further details.

•Beebe Road, Wilson, animal problem. Patrol reported two enormous horses in the roadway.

Tuesday, Feb. 15

•Military Road, Lewiston, accident. Patrol reported two-car property damage accident; statements taken.

•100 block of William Street, Youngstown, suspicious person. Caller reported an individual in a white Hyundai was in the area taking pictures.

•400 block of Fieldcrest Drive, Youngstown, alarm response. Call was an avoidable alarm in a kitchen sliding glass door.

•3000 block of Dietz Road, suspicious vehicle. Plate number logged.

•4400 block of Lake Road, Wilson, warrant execution. Patrol reports attempting to serve a warrant on a male.

•100 block of Washington Road, Wilson, aggravated harassment. Complainant reported receiving calls from an unknown person.

2600 block of Youngstown-Lockport Road, Porter, warrant execution. Patrol reports serving a warrant on a female.

•400 block of Ide Road, Wilson, aggravated harassment. Caller reports receiving text messages from a female making threats.

Wednesday, Feb. 16

•2200 block of Saunders Settlement Road, Lewiston, drug offense. Patrol reported the recovery of drugs from an individual listed as a student. No further details.

•3400 block of East Avenue, Porter, domestic incident. Female caller reported a boyfriend-ex-girlfriend verbal dispute that occurred earlier.

•3100 block of Creek Road, Porter, suspicious person. Caller reported an individual shining flashlights in a barn across the street.

•Ide Road, Wilson, accident/animal. Patrol reported a car-deer accident; no injuries. Statement taken.

Thursday, Feb. 17

•2600 block of Lower Mountain Road, Lewiston, larceny. Complainant reported an incident that occurred in August 2010, possibly a civil issue over a tire.

•4600 block of Porter Center Road, Lewiston, domestic incident. Caller reports a 16-year-old male took a hammer to a moneybox.

•Saunders Settlement Road, Lewiston, reckless driver. Caller reported a gray car pulled out in front of her.

•2300 block of Saunders Settlement Road, Lewiston, unwanted person. Caller reported a male would not leave a pizza shop.

•Creek Road, Lewiston, vehicle in a ditch. Caller reports hearing lots of screaming.

•1700 block of Saunders Settlement Road, check-the-welfare. Patrol reported a male-female physical incident. Subjects won't answer questions.

•3900 block of Ransomville Road, Ransomville, accident/animal. Patrol reported a dead dog in the roadway.

•1100 block of Youngstown-Lockport Road, check-the-welfare. Complainant advised the children and father were not on the premises.

•200 block of Bay Road, Wilson, animal problem. Caller reported a possible rabid raccoon in a cul-de-sac.

Friday, Feb. 18

•2200 block of Saunders Settlement Road, Lewiston, suspicious vehicle. Complainant reported the driver was punching parked vehicles at a business and fled heading westbound.

•200 block of Portage Road, Lewiston, robbery. Patrol reported a robbery at a Laundromat. Suspect described as a white male, wearing a ski mask, tri-colored.

•2200 block of Saunders Settlement Road, Lewiston, harassment. No further details.

•900 block of Swann Road, fire/EMS response. Caller reported possible smoke in the attic.

•3500 block of Ransomville Road, Ransomville, assault. Patrol reports one resident had stabbed another resident in the neck.

•900 block of Balmer Road, Porter, missing person. Patrol reported a 15-year-old female juvenile as missing.

•Lutts Road, Porter, suspicious vehicle. Plate number logged; no further details.

•500 block of Beebe Road, Wilson, animal problem. Caller reports witnessing a person hit a cat on the 2300 block of Wilson Avenue.

Saturday, Feb. 19

•4300 block of Autumn Lane, Lewiston, domestic. Patrol reported a physical incident involving a male and female. Male listed as intoxicated and children in the residence.

•Ridge Road, Lewiston, intoxicated driver. Patrol listed a male-female physical incident, with children in the report. Male listed as intoxicated.

•Ridge Road, Lewiston, suspicious vehicle. Vehicle listed as blue in color; DWI procedure photographed by female party.

•1000 block of Woodcliffe Drive, Youngstown, domestic. Complainant's father was reported as yelling and screaming.

•900 block of Ballmer Road, Porter, missing person return. Patrol reported a female juvenile listed as missing earlier had returned home.

•2600 block of Youngstown-Lockport Road, harassment. Complainant reports being threatened at an address on the 3600 bock of Wilson Avenue, Wilson.

•2900 block of Wilson-Cambria Road, Wilson, suspicious vehicle. Patrol reported the vehicle as unoccupied; plate number logged.

•2900 block of Daniels Road, Wilson, burglary. Complainant reported the incident occurred within the past two days; unknown what was taken.

•600 block of Popular Road, Wilson, domestic. Patrol reported a father-daughter physical incident. Negative results on weapons or intoxicants.

Sunday, Feb. 20

•5900 block of Military Road, Lewiston, accident injury. Patrol reported an ATV rollover; male party struck on the head.

•Robert Moses Parkway, accident injury. Patrol reported a property damage accident in the RMP southbound lane, north of Ridge Road.

•2300 block of Blamer Road, Porter, neighbor problem. Complainant reported a male neighbor was videotaping without consent.

•2700 block of Daniels Road, Wilson, hunter complaint. Complainant reported unknown hunters with dogs on the property.

•200 block of Harbor Street, Wilson, suspicious person. Complainant reported occupants of three cars in a cemetery and screaming.
