Winners of the 2011 Business of the Year and Business Person of the Year were among the many entities celebrated by the Niagara USA Chamber of Commerce during its 2011 "Chamber Honors" dinner on Saturday, Feb. 26, at the Seneca Niagara Hotel & Casino.
Community leaders and businesses of all sizes gathered together for this event. This year, the chamber recognized the outstanding accomplishments of State Sen. George Maziarz, Mary Murphy of Murphy's Insurance, the Lockport City School District, TAM Ceramics and the Niagara County Industrial Development Agency. A special recognition was presented for the New York Power Authority's Niagara Power Project's 50th anniversary.
