This is producer/director Jason Gielow's third musical at Starpoint.

It is the most elaborate musical that Starpoint has ever produced and it includes more than 30 lighting and staging special effects. This is Dennis Gielow's second musical as set designer at Starpoint. Now a retired engineer and blueprint designer, Gielow began building sets at Niagara-Wheatfield in 1994 when his son, Jason, was a student-actor there.

Senior Haley Keeley plays Dorothy, and seniors Ben Domagala and Glenn Hillman play the Tin Woodsman and the Cowardly Lion respectively. More than 60 "mini-munchkins" from grades K-5 will join the cast.
