Search continues for Jessica Placek

The Niagara County Sheriff's Office is continuing its search for Jessica Placek, age 16, who was reported missing at approximately 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 27, on the Niagara University campus.

The Niagara County Sheriff's Office reported receiving a call from Niagara University Campus Safety, who reported the female as missing while attending a sporting event at the NU Gallagher Center. According to Lewiston Police, the female had informed her parents she was going to the bathroom and never returned.

Placek is described a white female, 5 feet 1 inch tall, weighing 140 pounds, with dark brown hair, and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a grey Aeropostale hoodie, jeans, and black Nike sneakers with a pink swoosh trademark. Further information from the sheriff's office indicated she left the Niagara University campus in the company of an unknown black male, possible en route to the City of Niagara Falls.

The case remains under investigation by the Lewiston Police, Niagara County Sheriff's Office and NU Campus Safety.
