Gregory Fletcher, director of Niagara University Theatre said, "I am happy to report that Niagara University Theatre will again collaborate this year with the Castellani Art Museum. From Feb. 17 to 20, we will present a readers' theater production of "The Credeaux Canvas" by Keith Bunin at the museum, where an art exhibit has been especially curated for our production."

Directed by alumnus Paschal Frisina III, '00, this drama explores art, love and faking it. Like so many hopefuls in New York City, three young adults (a painter, a singer, and the son of a prominent art dealer) are chasing their dreams and trying to beat the odds to success. When a wild idea emerges on how to make some fast cash, the three agree to do something that will change their lives forever.

"The Credeaux Canvas" will be presented at the Castellani Art Museum at 7 p.m. on Feb. 17 and 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 18-19. A 2 p.m. matinee will also be held on Feb. 20 at the Castellani Art Museum.

Cast members include the following Niagara University theater studies performance majors: Alissa Sumerano (Amelia) of Hurley, N.Y.; Nicholas G. Gnacinski (Winston) of Grand Island; Joe Liolos (Jamie) of Williamsville; and Meagan Kurilovitch-Millar (Tess) of Niagara Falls.
