The North Tonawanda History Museum will hold a Winter Used Book Sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, at the museum, 54 Webster St.
Visitors may purchase a bag from the History Museum and fill it with all the books they can squeeze in for $5. Individual prices are: paperbacks, 50 cents each or three for $1; hard cover books, $1 each or three for $2.
In addition to the sale, three programs are scheduled for February, Black History Month.
On Saturday, Feb. 12, at 1 p.m., "Underground Railroad," hosted by Alfre Woodard, a new documentary from the History Channel, will be presented.
On Saturday, Feb. 19, at 2 p.m., Rose Ann Jankowiak-Hirsch will speak about her book, "Crystal Memories - 101 Years of Fun at Crystal Beach." This will be the last opportunity to obtain copies of her book. Copies are available for $29.95 at the museum.
On Saturday, Feb. 26, at 2 p.m., "Whispers of Angels: A Story of the Underground Railroad," will be presented.
