The following incidents occurred Sunday, Jan. 2, to Saturday, Jan. 15, as reported by the Youngstown Police Department.
Sunday, Jan. 2
•Route 93, traffic stop. A warning was given to a speeding motorist.
Monday, Jan. 3
•400 block of Oak Street, damaged road sign. The village Department of Public Works was advised.
•950 block of River Road and 500 block of Westwood Drive. Vacant house checks. Both locations secure.
•90 block of Lake Street, assist Youngstown Volunteer Fire Co. Patrol reported an elderly woman fell and was transported to Mount St. Mary's Hospital and Health Center.
•400 block of Main Street, assault/arrest. Statement taken from a 27-year-old male. Patrol reported a 30-year-old male had punched the victim in the face, resulting in minor bleeding. Suspect surrendered to patrol at a Main Street location. Appearance tickets issued for Porter Town Court. Patrol's reports to follow.
Tuesday, Jan. 4
•Niagara River, unspecified location. Assisted U.S. Border Patrol. A report was filed of a 7-year-old boy in the water. The subject was located, and patrol was advised to stand down.
•400 block of Church Street, drive-up complaint. A possible suspicious vehicle was reported to be in the fields. Patrol checked the area with negative results.
•200 block of Main Street, burglary. A female complainant reported burglary damage to the residence and vehicle. Report to follow.
Wednesday, Jan. 5
•Falkner Park, property check. Patrol advised three youths to disperse from the park.
Friday, Jan. 7
•Modern Disposal, assist Lewiston Police Department. Patrol reported conducting a welfare check for a male working alone. No problems found and the male was advised to call his wife.
•10 block of Main Street, possible stroke victim. Patrol located the victim in an elevator. YVFC transported the victim to Mount St. Mary's Hospital and Health Center.
Saturday, Jan. 8
•410 block of Main Street, alarm response. Patrol reported the building was secure.
•950 block of River Road and 500 block of Westwood Avenue, vacant house checks. Both locations secure.
•Main Street, vehicle/traffic stop. Patrol reported citing a 25-year-old male for speeding in zone. Driver reported doing 48 mph in a 30 mph zone. Uniform traffic ticket with return date for Porter Town Court issued. Report filed.
Sunday, Jan. 9
•Village locations. Parking tickets issued.
•Route 93, vehicle check. Patrol advised the driver about speeding.
Monday, Jan. 10
•Water Street, no parking zone. Ticket issued.
Tuesday, Jan. 11
•Lower River Road, vehicle check. Patrol reported citing a 40-year-old female for speeding in zone. Driver reported doing 45 mph in a 30 mph zone. Uniform traffic ticket with return date for Porter Town Court issued. Report filed.
•Robert Moses Parkway, reckless driver complaint. Patrol checked with negative results.
Friday, Jan. 14
•2300 block of Youngstown-Lockport Road, assist. Patrol on location with Niagara County Sheriff's Office for a custody problem. Situation addressed.
•RMP, vehicle in ditch. Owner removed.
Saturday, Jan. 15
•720 block of Cayuga Street, assist. Patrol on location with Lewiston Police on a possible domestic issue. The male complainant was intoxicated; no problems reported. Patrol cleared.
