Mount St. Mary's Hospital and Health Center President and CEO Judith A. Maness has announced that Andrea Gaudioso has been appointed chief information officer, and Laura Volz, director of pharmacy at Mount St. Mary's Hospital and Health Center.
Gaudioso comes to Mount St. Mary's from Columbia St. Mary's Health System in Milwaukee, where she worked since 1985, and most recently served as the senior director of information technology operations. Both Mount St. Mary's and Columbia St. Mary's are part of Ascension Health, the nation's largest Catholic health care system with more than 65 hospitals in 20 states. She is a graduate of Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee and a certified professional in health care information and management systems.
Gaudioso succeeds Richard Witkowski at CIO. Witkowski recently retired after more than 50 years in local health care.
Volz joins Mount St. Mary's after more than 10 years of experience with the Wyoming County Community Hospital, DeGraff Memorial Hospital and Millard Fillmore Gates. She is a graduate of Duquesne University, where she earned her doctorate. She is a member of the American Society of Health System Pharmacists and the American Society of Consultant.
Volz replaces Christopher Jadoch who recently took a teaching and administrative position with D'Youville College.
