Santa Claus visits with children at the Town of Porter Story Hour earlier this month at one of two pre-Christmas party gatherings held at the Youngstown Free Library.
Terrie Bednarczyk, of the Bee Hive in Lewiston, who also assists at the Town of Porter Story Hour, reports children helped out the needy at both events by bringing canned goods and non-perishables for the Heart & Soul Food Pantry run by Sister Barbara Pfohl in Niagara Falls.
"This is the second year that the children have collected food to feed the hungry at the Heart & Soul Food Pantry," says Bednarczyk.
