Youngstown Police Blotter for Dec. 11

The following activity occurred Wednesday, Nov. 17, to Friday, Dec. 3, as reported by the Youngstown PD.

Wednesday, Nov. 17

  • 400 block of Lockport Street, property damage. A report was filed at the Youngstown Police Department Office for a Lockport male regarding $1,050 in cash accidentally burned at his residence.

Thursday, Nov. 18

  • 100 block of Chestnut Road, larceny. The victim reported a gas can missing from her unlocked garage. She didn't wish to complete the incident report, but wanted patrols to be aware of the theft. No subject could be named.

Friday, Nov. 19

  • 140 block of North Fourth Street, assist. Lewiston Police Department spotted a group of kids fighting. The group was dispersed.

Saturday, Nov. 20

  • Lockport Street, vehicle traffic stop. A uniform traffic ticket was issued for a speeding vehicle.

Water Street, vehicle traffic stop. A vehicle was ticketed for parking in a no-parking zone.

Sunday, Nov. 21

  • 410 block of Riverview Drive, assist. Lewiston Police Department stopped a white Chevy Trailblazer. Negative results.

Wednesday, Nov. 24

  • Church Street, vehicle traffic stop. One uniform traffic ticket was issued for a vehicle being driven without insurance, while another was issued for operating a vehicle with a suspended license.

Friday, Nov. 26

  • 3000 block of Orchard Drive, assist, possible aggravated harassment. Niagara County Sheriffs Department resolved problem.
  • 950 block of River Road, vacant house checks. Two houses checked and all secure.
  • Lockport Street, vehicle traffic stop. A uniform traffic ticket was issued to a vehicle for speeding.
  • Robert Moses Parkway, reckless driver complaint. Call reported a reckless driver was northbound on the RMP. Patrol checked.

Saturday, Nov. 27

  • Elm Street, check welfare. A woman informed patrol she was going to the doctors Monday and Tuesday.
  • 4600 block of Creek Road, assist. Lewiston Police Department was called for domestic reasons. One female was taken to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center on a mental health response.
  • 430 block of Center Street, assist. Boyfriend/girlfriend domestic issues.
  • 400 block of Fifth Street. Lewiston Police Department filed a report of father/son domestic harassment.

Sunday, Nov. 28

  • 2700 block of Lockport Road, assist. Niagara County Sheriff's Department filed a report for a husband/wife domestic incident.
  • Balmer Road, attempt to locate. Patrol stopped a vehicle. Niagara County Sheriffs Department lodged an unspecified charge against the driver.
  • Robert Moses Parkway, recovered property. Patrol called Niagara County Sheriff's Department to handle property regarding a stolen Jeep.
  • 930 block of Balmer Road, assist. Patrol cleared house. Niagara County Sheriff's Department filed a report.

Monday, Nov. 29

  • 580 block of Lockport Street, suspended registration/no insurance on rental. Initiated by plate reader. The person involved was not observed operating the unit. No charges, vehicle towed.
  • 1100 block of New Road, assist. Patrol on location with Niagara County Sheriff's Department on a DWI arrest. Driver in custody and SPCA contacted for removing a dog from the vehicle. Patrol waited for his car to be towed.

Friday, Dec. 3

  • 950 block of River Road, vacant house check.
  • Lockport Street, juvenile problem. Kids were found loitering around the mail trucks at a post office. Patrol checked the area.
