The following activity occurred Wednesday, Sept. 28, to Wednesday, Nov. 3, as reported by the Youngstown Police Department.

Wednesday, Sept. 28

  • No activity.

Friday, Oct. 1

  • Church Street, vehicle/traffic stop. Patrol reported the pullover of a 17-year-old male for speeding. Driver cited for doing 49 mph in a 30 mph zone. Uniform traffic ticket issued and Porter Town Court date assigned. Report filed.
  • 400 block of Oak Street, loud dog complaint. Patrol spoke with a female regarding an ongoing problem at the address. The woman stated she would bring in the dog for the evening.
  • 200 block of Young Street in Wilson, fight at a bar. Patrol reports assisting Niagara County Sheriff's Department on the call. One individual arrested.

Saturday, Oct. 2

  • Lewiston Road and Mountain View Drive, assist. Patrol assisted Lewiston Police with a possible intoxicated driver. Female driver was taken by LPD to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center on a mental health call.
  • Falkner Park, property check. Patrol reported juveniles in the area and advised the group about park hours. All OK.
  • Church Street, vehicle/traffic stop. Patrol reported the pullover of a 45-year-old female for speeding in zone. Driver cited for doing 45 mph in a 30 mph zone. Uniform traffic ticket issued and Porter Town Court date assigned.

Sunday, Oct. 3

  • Unspecified location, assist. Patrol assisted NCSD with a possible burglary in progress. Residence checked; nothing showing.
  • 300 block of Oak Street, underage drinking party. Patrol and NCSD broke up the group. All participants were 21 years old. Designated drivers arranged for all. Patrol cleared.
  • Youngstown Yacht Club docks, assist. Patrol on location to assist Youngstown Volunteer Fire Co. and Upper Mountain Volunteer Fire Co. EMS responders with a male who fell off his boat into Lake Ontario. U.S. Coast Guard transported the individual to the YYC docks. Party signed off on any medical treatment.
  • Lockport Street, walk-up complaint of dogs in the roadway. Patrol observed two dogs running through traffic. Both dogs secured and returned to the 100 block of Lockport Street, where the owner was issued a verbal warning.
  • 300 block of Church Street, walk-up property damage complaint. Patrol spoke with a 71-year-old female who reported damage to her car but said it was unknown when it occurred. Accident report to be filed.
  • 200 block of Lockport Street, trespasser complaint. Patrol spoke with the party who was unaware they were on private property. All OK.
  • 200 block of Elm Street, assist. Patrol on location to assist Youngstown Fire Co. with an 89-year-old female. Subject taken to Mount St. Mary's Hospital and Health Center.

Monday, Oct. 4

  • 3500 block of Ransomville Road, assist. Patrol on location with NCSD to check the welfare of three men reported in the middle of the street. Negative results on patrol's search.
  • 400 block of Main Street, vehicle/traffic stop. Patrol reported the pullover of a 40-year-old female for speeding in zone. Driver cited for doing 46 mph in 30 mph zone. Uniform traffic ticket issued and Porter Town Court date assigned.
  • Falkner Park foot patrol. Patrol came upon two individuals and advised them to leave. No problems reported.

Wednesday, Oct. 6

  • 900 block of Balmer Road, assist. Patrol on location with NCSD for a property dispute. Handled by patrol.
  • 3500 block of Ransomville Road, assist. Patrol on location with NCSD for a 911 check. All OK.

Friday, Oct. 8

  • Third and Oak streets, check area. Patrol on location while buses were unloading to follow-up on a call of a suspicious person in the area. Patrol cleared.

Saturday, Oct. 9

  • 400 block of Second Street, suspicious vehicle at a bank branch. All OK; the individual was using the ATM.
  • Route 93, reckless driver. Patrol caught up with the vehicle on Balmer Road and reported no problems.

Sunday, Oct. 10

  • 2000 block of Route 93, accident with injuries. Patrol reports a motorcycle with two occupants lost control and went into a ditch before stopping. Youngstown and Ransomville fire companies' EMS on location. State Police handling the reports.

Monday, Oct. 11

  • 900 block of Meadow Drive, brother sister domestic. NCSD to file domestic incident report.
  • 2500 block of Youngstown-Lockport Road, husband-wife domestic. Patrol reported the arrest of a male on a charge of third degree assault. NCSD to file domestic incident report.

Tuesday, Oct. 12

  • 2100 block of Upper Mountain Road, assist. Patrol on location with NCSD and Lewiston Police on a recovered property call. Possible suspect on location. Other agencies handled the call.
  • 200 block of Upper Mountain Road. Patrol on location with NCSD for a vehicle check. All OK.

Friday, Oct. 15

  • 900 block of River Road, vacant house inspection. All OK.

Saturday, Oct. 16

  • Veterans Park, report of juveniles. Patrol reports the party immediately stopped their activity and agreed to leave. Subjects advised of park hours, the curfew and allowable recreation activities.

Monday, Oct. 18

  • 800 block of Balmer Road, juvenile problem. Patrol assisted NCSD with three juvenile males who were arguing with parents. Situation handled by patrol.
  • 900 block of Balmer Road, suspicious person. Subject reported as digging through garbage and pulling on doors. Patrol, State Police, and State Parks Police searched the area with negative results.

Tuesday, Oct. 19

  • Third Street, vehicle/traffic stop. Patrol reported the pullover of a 21-year-old male for speeding in zone. Driver cited for doing 41 mph in a 30 mph zone. Uniform traffic ticket and return Porter Town Court date assigned. Report filed.
  • 900 block of Blairville Road assist. Patrol on location NSCD on a 911 hang-up and an uncooperative male on the callback. No reported issues on the scene.

Friday, Oct. 22

  • Lockport Street, eastbound, reckless driver. Patrol located the driver later and reported he was a pizzeria delivery person. Driver advised.
  • 400 block of Carollwood Drive, animal problem. Caller reported a raccoon in the garbage. Patrol checked with negative results.
  • Oak Street, juvenile problem. Subjects sent on their way without incident.

Saturday, Oct. 23

  • 700 block of Mohawk Street, assist. Patrol assisted Lewiston Police on a road rage incident. Situation addressed.
  • Church Street, vehicle/traffic enforcement. No violations observed.
  • Lockport Street, vehicle/traffic enforcement. Patrol issued one warning to a village resident.

Sunday, Oct. 24

  • 100 block of Main Street, walk-up suspicious person complaint. Patrol advised of a male in his 40s, no further details.

Friday, Oct. 29

  • 100 block of Jackson Street, found dog. SPCA notified and secured dog; owner patrol unable to contact owner.
  • Lockport and Main streets, vehicle/traffic stop. Patrol reported a possible drunk driver. Field sobriety testing performed. Driver passed and advised. Patrol cleared.

Saturday, Oct. 30

  • 900 block of River Road and 500 block of Westwood Avenue, house checks. Both locations secure.
  • Lockport and Elm streets, walk up complaint of a dog in the roadway. Animal located and secured by its owner. Verbal warning issued by patrol.
  • Lockport Street, vehicle/traffic stop. Vehicle traffic ticket to a male driver; violation not specified.

Sunday, Oct. 31

  • 100 block of Water Street, juvenile problem. Patrol advised of juveniles in the area, wearing costumes and possible criminal mischief. Patrol checked the area; subjects gone on arrival and no complainant.
  • Lake Street, reckless driver. Patrol spoke with all parties and resolved the problem.
  • 200 block of Lockport Street, juveniles in a parking lot playing loud music. Subjects advised and dispersed.

Monday, Nov. 1

  • No activity.

Wednesday, Nov. 3

  • 200 block of Hinman Street, trespassing. Patrol dispersed a group of juveniles skateboarding in a church parking lot. Subjects advised not to skateboard on private property, on village streets or sidewalks.
  • 100 block of Lockport Streets, walk-up complaint of a parked suspicious vehicle in a closed lot. All OK.
  • Unspecified location, attempt to locate. Patrol advised of a possible intoxicated driver. Plate number logged and owner tracked to an East Oak Terrace address. Patrol unable to locate.
