Wild turkey hunt for children
by jmaloniSat, Nov 6th 2010 05:00 pm
The fifth annual Lewiston
Service Guild "Nighttime Wild Turkey Hunt for Kids" is set for Friday, Nov. 12,
at Marilyn Toohey Park (behind the Red Brick).
There are no actual turkeys, nor will anything be shot. But Village of Lewiston Recreation Director Marianne Gittermann promises a good time for area children.
Following 6 p.m. registration, children will take flashlights and baskets in search of candy, stuffed turkeys and prizes. Cider, doughnuts, crafts and entertainment welcome them on their return.
