The Historical Association of Lewiston is pleased to announce tickets are now on sale for its sixth annual Tour of Homes, scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 4, and Sunday, Dec. 5, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Lewiston.

The theme for the 2011 Tour of Homes is "Christmas Grace." It features five homes, each dressed in holiday finery by Western New York's most notable interior designers and retailers.

Each home will also feature at least two tablescapes, offering holiday decorating ideas.

Additionally, three of Western New York's foremost wedding planners together with the Buffalo-based Plant Place and Flower Basket will host an over-the-top Christmas wedding (for ticket-holders only) at the historical First Presbyterian Church of Lewiston. This event will not only allow tickets holders a tour of this old stone church, it also will come complete with a bride and groom and all of the trimmings for a romantic Christmas wedding.

This is a self-guided tour. Trolley service will be available for the pleasure of guests, compliments of Great Lakes Real Estate.

In addition to being able to see these spectacular homes, most open for the first time, ticket holders will be treated to a dessert sampling reception at the Barton Hill Hotel & Spa. The event features sweets from DiCamillo Bakery and the Village Bake Shoppe. Guests will also receive a poinsettia cocktail, compliments of Supermarket Liquors & Wines and Wine Stuff and More.

There's also a jewelry show and sale in the Fairbanks Room off the hotel lobby.
