The Niagara River Region Chamber of Commerce has announced the top three winners of its 2010 Scarecrow Display Contest, which saw several unique creations found on the streets of Lewiston, Youngstown, Ransomville and Sanborn over the past month. First place, best of show, goes to Pipers' Village Inn, for its creation of "Piper in Wonderland," found on the corner of South Fifth and Center streets in the Village of Lewiston. Second place is "Elvis at the Barn Dance," created by the Sanborn Historical Society and found at the corner of Saunders Settlement Road and Buffalo Street in Sanborn. Third place goes to Youngstown Family Dentistry for its "before" and "after" creation of Dr. James Trzaska found at 320 Lockport St., in Youngstown. The chamber extends a special "thank you" to all who participated in this year's contest.
