The YWCA Tonawandas will host a training session for the Winter Walk KidBiz at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 30 at 49 Tremont St., North Tonawanda.

The one-hour training teaches kids, ages 8 to 13, the basics of the retail business -- how to properly serve customers, profit and loss principles, how to price merchandise and how to market their goods. All trainees will receive a KidBiz start up kit.

KidBiz, a marketplace for young entrepreneurs to sell handmade crafts, used toys and books, homemade baked goods and other novelties, will take place at the YWCA during Winter Walk, Saturday, Dec. 4.
