Spirit Airlines announces service from Niagara Falls to Fort Lauderdale and Myrtle Beach

Spirit Airlines today announced that it will begin non-stop service from Niagara Falls to Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Myrtle Beach, S.C., offering upstate New Yorkers and Canadians easy access to ultra low fares throughout the U.S., Caribbean and Latin America.

The ultra low cost carrier will begin three non-stop flights per week between Niagara Falls International Airport and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport on Jan. 27, 2011.

In addition, starting on May 5, 2011, Spirit will seasonally operate three flights per week between Niagara Falls and Myrtle Beach.

To celebrate, Spirit is offering $9 introductory fares* (each way based on round trip purchase) available today and tomorrow only at www.spiritair.com.

In addition to Niagara Falls being a tourist destination in itself, the Niagara Falls International Airport is also conveniently located near Buffalo, New York and just across the border from Toronto.
