Walk-in flu clinics for vets

Veterans enrolled in VA health care may obtain flu vaccines at upcoming walk-in clinics scheduled at VA Western New York Healthcare System, 3495 Bailey Ave., Buffalo, on the following dates:

Saturday, Oct. 16, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Thursday, Oct. 21, 4 to 8 p.m.; Saturday, Oct. 23, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Saturday, Oct. 30, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Saturday, Nov. 6, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The vaccines will be available at Desk 4 located on the first floor.  Enrolled veterans may also contact their primary care provider to obtain the vaccine.  There is no charge for the flu vaccine for veterans enrolled in VA health care.  Eligibility will be verified prior to administration of the vaccine.
