The following activity occurred Monday, Sept. 27, to Sunday, Oct. 3, as reported by the Lewiston Police Department. A total of 73 calls were answered by LPD during this period.

Monday, Sept. 27

  • Lower Mountain Road/Bond Lake Park area, car-deer collision. Statement taken from the driver; report filed.
  • 4600 block of Moore Road, assist call. Patrol on location with Crisis Services at the address.
  • Creek Road Extension, two-car accident. Statements taken from both drivers; report filed.
  • 400 block of River Walk Drive, check welfare of children. Patrol spoke with a female and reported no problems.
  • 600 block of Morgan drive, check 911 call. Patrol reported a 65-year-old male who was intoxicated and had a small cut on his forehead. Medical treatment refused.

Tuesday, Sept. 28

  • Locations on the 2800 block and 1400 block of Ridge Road, separate checks of businesses. Both locations secure.
  • 5800 block of Ward Road, alarm response at a bar. Patrol checked and found all secure; no key holder.
  • 400 block of Mohawk Street, possible natural gas leak. Patrol reported all secure at the location.
  • 2100 block of Saunders Settlement Road, car-dog accident. Patrol spoke with the driver; SPCA on location, dog expired. Report filed.
  • Walmore Road at S-turns, two-car accident. Statements taken from both drivers; report filed.
  • 500 block of Mountain View Drive, alarm response. Patrol checked; all appears secure.
  • 900 block of Mohawk Street, property dispute. Patrol reported a civil matter; parties advised.
  • 5800 block of West Street aggravated harassment complaint. Statement taken from a 20-year-old male regarding a 20-year-old male. Report filed.

Wednesday, Sept. 29

  • 2000 block of Saunders Settlement Road, two-vehicle accident. Statement taken from both drivers; no injuries or tows. Report filed.
  • 2000 block of Ridge Road, AED response. Lewiston No. 1 Volunteer Fire Co. on location.
  • 5000 block of Grove Street, assist. Patrol on location with State Police on a check-the-welfare call. No one reported at home.
  • LPD office, walk-in fraud complaint. Statement taken from a 56-year-old female; investigation to continue.
  • 600 block of Pletcher Road, injury. Patrol reported a 14-year-old injured in a trampoline accident. Call handled.
  • 4500 block of Washington Drive, burglary/stolen vehicle. Statement taken from a 58-year-old female. Plate number logged; investigation to continue. Report filed.
  • 2200 block of Saunders Settlement Road, injury accident. Statements taken from both drivers; report filed.
  • Buffalo Street, reckless driver. Patrol checked with negative results.
  • 5800 block of Buffalo Street, animal accident. Statement taken from the driver; owners removed the dog prior to patrol's arrival.
  • 400 block of Onondaga Street, harassment. Statement taken from a 48-year-old male regarding a 31-year-old female suspect. Report filed.

Thursday, Sept. 30

  • Niagara University campus, overdose. Patrol reports a 19-year-old female was cited for public law and Alcohol Beverage Control violations; appearance tickets issued for Lewiston Town Court. Subject taken by Upper Mountain Volunteer Fire Co. EMS to EM-Star at Mount St. Mary's Hospital and Health Center. Report filed.
  • 4300 block of Eddy Drive West, grease fire. All secure.
  • 100 block of South Water Street, officer requested. No further details.
  • Ward Road, follow-up to an earlier hit-run accident. Patrol reported a 29-year-old male and a 28-year-old male as suspects. Also a 49-year-old male victim and a 25-year-old male witness. Obstruction charges to come on both suspects. Investigation to continue.
  • Creek Road, attempt to locate. Patrol advised of a possible intoxicated driver in a silver Impala. Area checked with negative results. Patrol cleared.
  • 5100 block of Townline Road, fraud complaint. Statement taken from a 38-year-old female regarding a female suspect. Complaint states she wanted the suspect to pay back the charges on a credit card that had been used. No charges by patrol at this time. Report filed.
  • Lewiston Road, vehicle/traffic stop. Patrol reported the arrest of a 25-year-old male for third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. Uniform traffic tickets issued and Lewiston Town Court date assigned. Report filed.

Friday, Oct. 1

  • 400 block of Lockport Street, assist call. Patrol on location with Niagara County Sheriff's Department to address a domestic incident. All OK.
  • NU, Seton Hall, criminal trespass. Statement taken from a 44-year-old male. Patrol reported the arrests of five suspects on said complaint. Arrested were: a 23-year-old male; a 21-year-old male; a 25-year-old male; a 24-year-old male and a 25-year-old male. Appearance tickets issued to all for return date in Lewiston Town Court. Report filed.
  • 900 block of Youngstown-Lockport Road, check-the-welfare. Patrol reported all OK with a female at the address.
  • 800 block of Center Street, two-car injury accident. Statements taken from both drivers. Report filed.
  • 4000 block of Creek Road at Lewiston-Porter High School and on Ridge and Porter Center roads, separate reports of two vehicle accidents. Statements taken from all drivers. Separate reports filed.
  • South Eighth and Cayuga streets, three-vehicle accident. Statements taken from drivers No. 1 and 2; the third vehicle involved was parked. Report to follow.
  • Lewiston Hill, reckless driver. Plate number logged; no problems reported.

Saturday, Oct. 2

  • Unspecified location, mental health response. Patrol reported a 48-year-old female was transported to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center for an evaluation. Vehicle towed.
  • Creek Road Extension and Walker Drive, loud party. No problems found.
  • 800 block of Center Street, report of a possible fight at a bar/restaurant. Patrol reported 20 to 30 individuals out in front of the business arguing. All subjects removed. Patrol also reported loud music at the premises and advised the owner to turn it down and start closing up.
  • 700 block of Hillview Drive. Complainant reported that an individual tried to get into the residence via a front window.
  • Unspecified location, larceny. A 45-year-old female informed patrol on the theft of 34 pink flamingos from the front yard.
  • 700 block of Hillview Court, burglary. Statements taken from a 62-year-old male and a 58-year-old female regarding an unknown suspect. Report filed.
  • Hit-run accident outside a coffee shop on the 700 block of Cayuga Street. Statement taken from driver No. 1; driver No. 2 unknown. Report filed.
  • 700 block of Center Street, criminal mischief behind a business. Statement taken from a 23-year-old male; report filed.
  • 4300 block of Hillview Court, attempted burglary. Statement taken from a 66-year-old female; report to follow.
  • 5100 block of Dana Drive, officer requested. Handled by patrol.
  • NU campus, Seton Hall, criminal mischief. Statement taken from a 19-year-old male regarding an 18-year-old male suspect. Report filed.

Sunday, Oct. 3

  • Onondaga Street, juvenile problem. Patrol advised by Lewiston No. 1 Volunteer Fire Co. of juveniles throwing cigarette butts at vehicles. Area checked, subjects gone on arrival.
  • Swann Road, Lewiston No. 1 substation, shooter complaint. Statement taken from a 74-year-old male regarding a 20-year-old male; report filed.
  • 4600 block of Porter Center Road, suspicious vehicle. Patrol advised of a sliver/gray Ford pickup heading southbound. Area checked; vehicle gone on arrival.
  • 4700 block of Eddy Drive East, EMS/AED response. Patrol AED not used; Lewiston No. 1 EMS transported to Mount St. Mary's EM-Star.
