Uncork an antique find or search for just the right fall craft for your home as the Sanborn Winetique Festival returns to Sanborn for its fifth year on Sunday, Oct. 17.

Hosted by the Sanborn Area Business Association in cooperation with the Niagara River Region Chamber of Commerce, the Winetique Festival will be held on the grounds of the Sanborn Volunteer Fire Co., 5811 Buffalo St., Sanborn. Bonnie Haskell, president of the association, is chairwoman of the event, while Pat Thompson chairs the basket auction.

Beginning at 10 a.m. and continuing through 5 p.m., this year's Winetique Festival features more than 25 vendors who will bring antiques, jewelry, fall crafts and decorative items. Niagara County vintners will bring a selection of wines from along the Niagara Wine Trail, including Vizcarra, Niagara Landing, Leonard Oakes and Schulze wineries. Annual offerings include a bowl of chicken chowder from the fire company and other food from vendors. Entertainment will feature Tony Pedulla and Colt 45.

The event is sponsored by Frontier Communications, Niagara County Community College, HSBC Bank, Sharpe Printing, Franks Marketplace and Niagara Frontier Publications.
