SHA open house

Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart, a Catholic school for girls in grades 9-12, will welcome prospective students to its annual open house on Thursday, Sept. 30, from 5 to 7 p.m., and Sunday, Oct. 3, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Prospective students and their parents can tour the academy, meet current SHA students, faculty and coaches and learn about the variety of curricular and extracurricular opportunities offered at Sacred Heart Academy. Information on scholarships, financial aid, the Catholic High School Entrance Exam and Entrance Exam Preparation Course will be available as well as information on the school's "shadowing" program. Reservations are not necessary.

Founded in 1877, the Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart is located at 3860 Main St., in Eggertsville. It is an independent, fully accredited Catholic high school for young women offering a value-based Franciscan education, and a rigorous college preparatory curriculum.
