The Lockport Spring Lake Winery continues with its 2010 concert and train schedules.
The Vineyard Express excursion train dates are Sept. 25 and Oct. 2. This all-day event begins with boarding the train at Michigan Street Railroad Yard in Lockport at 9:30 a.m. The scenic train ride takes passengers along the Erie Canal route with a continental breakfast served aboard the train. The train then stops at the Medina Railroad Museum at 11 a.m. for an exclusive one-hour tour. Passengers then re-board at noon and take a half-hour ride to Spring Lake Winery.
At the winery, participants can enjoy lunch, wine tasting and music all afternoon. The train dates coincide with the "Concerts by the Lake" series featuring live music entertainment by Carl Motyka on Sept. 25 and Billy McEwan on Oct. 2.
