The Town of Niagara held its annual Kids Fishing Day Experience this month at Elmer's Pond at Veterans Park. This year's event was another success with approximately 120 participants, according to co-chairs Deputy Supervisor Robert Herman and Jo Jo Allen from the Niagara River Anglers Association. Winners for the girls and boys divisions were: Ashley Bailor, 12 fish; Austin Bailor, 14 fish; Kristen Flemming, 11 fish; Tony Talarico, 11 fish; Alexis Hall, seven fish; Josh Gleason, seven fish. Each participant enjoyed a shore lunch along with a prize for participating. Shown are some of the fishermen.
