Final preparations are under way for the Niagara River Region Chamber of Commerce Golf Outing, to be held Monday, July 26, at the Niagara Frontier Country Club, Lake Road in the Town of Porter.
Registration forms for golfers (per person and foursomes) are available at the chamber office at 100 N. Third St., Lewiston, and online at www.NiagaraRiverRegion.com. Fees are $145 per person or $500 for a foursome.
Registration includes lunch, an 11:30 a.m. shot gun start (four person scramble, modified Calloway handicap system); greens fees (18 holes) and cart, beer, soda and water during play; a one hour open bar and hors d'oeuvres, followed by a steak dinner and desserts; and tournament prizes. The UPS Store of Lewiston will host a hole in one competition to win a BMW Series 3, two-year lease, as well as a chance to enter a putting contest to win a possible cash prize of $2,500. Separate dinner tickets are also available at $50 per person. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society Relay For Life.
