United Way of Greater Niagara and the new Seneca Hickory Stick Golf Course in Lewiston are teaming up for the first ever golf tournament to be held at the course on Thursday, July 22.

Golfers will tee off at 9 a.m. There are a limited number of foursomes or singles slots still available. There is an early registration discount for golfers who register prior to July 1. Registration includes embroidered golf shirt, golf, unlimited use of the driving range, cart fees, continental breakfast, lunch and entry into the hole-in-one challenges. Sponsors are being sought for tee signs, breakfast and other opportunities.

Joe Cecconi Chrysler Complex is sponsoring a hole in one contest for $10,000 toward the purchase or lease of a new car along with Toshiba Business Solutions who is sponsoring a hole in one for a 42-inch flat screen Toshiba television.

All dollars raised will go to benefit the new United Way's Community Care Fund.

"I am extremely happy to chair this year's golf tournament at Seneca Hickory Stick," said Charles Gonzalez.  "All the dollars raised will go to benefit someone here in Niagara County."

For more information, call the United Way at 285-8461 or 434-1190.
