The votes are in from fans worldwide, and Hard Rock International is thrilled to officially announce More Than Me victorious in Hard Rock's 2010 Ambassadors of Rock Battle of the Bands. More Than Me's dream came true this week, and the band will soon cross the Atlantic and take the stage at Hard Rock Calling 2010, one of the U.K.'s most-anticipated concert events and the kick-off to Hard Rock's worldwide Ambassadors of Rock Tour.

Selected from a talented pool of more than 250 acts that competed at Hard Rock Cafe locations across the U.S., More Than Me has won the opportunity to rock out on the same stage as headliners Pearl Jam, Stevie Wonder and Paul McCartney.

"We've been touring around North America for nine years in our broken-down van, and winning Hard Rock's Ambassadors of Rock Battle of the Bands has made every minute totally worth it," said Ryan Doyle, lead vocalist of More Than Me. "We hope to make our family, friends and fans across the nation proud when we travel across the pond to London to play our dream concert at Hard Rock Calling 2010."

Based out of Buffalo, More Than Me's pop/rock sound has been capturing the attention of thousands of fans across the country for nearly a decade. The band has received praise from top artists and music industry executives and has also garnered various honors, such as the VH1 Save the Music Foundation "SongoftheYear.com" award for the single "Unconditional Truth" and "Best Original Rock Band" in the WNY People's Choice Awards. With more than 500 shows, 100,000 miles of national touring, 5,000 independent CDs sold (from the back of a van) and more than 200,000 hits on their MySpace page, More Than Me has proven that they are truly worthy of winning Hard Rock's Ambassadors of Rock Battle of the Bands and taking the stage at Hard Rock Calling 2010.

Finalists from 26 cities were reviewed by a star-studded panel of artists and music industry professionals, led by Little Steven Van Zandt of the legendary E Street Band. The distinguished panel also included Live Nation Vice President of Promotions Toby Leighton-Pope, SPIN Magazine editor Doug Brod, Senior Director of brand philanthropy, memorabilia and artist relations for Hard Rock International Annie Balliro, Absolute Radio Director of Marketing Clare Baker and 2009 Ambassadors of Rock Battle of the Bands winners Rudy Vaughn.  The panel narrowed the field down to 10 final bands. The vote was then taken to the Web, where fans across the globe visited www.HardRock.com to cast their ballots.
