The Town of Niagara is planning a June Bulk Clean Up Month, according to Michael J. Moyer, highway superintendent.

All debris must be boxed, bundled or bagged; no tires, no concrete, no large loose piles of debris.

If your regular scheduled garbage pickup day falls on Monday or Tuesday, your bulk trash pickup day will be on Saturday, June 5.

If your regular day is Wednesday, bulk trash pickup day will be on Saturday, June 12.

If your regular day is Thursday, bulk trash pickup will be on Saturday June 19.

If your regular day is Friday, bulk trash pickup will be on Saturday, June 26.

Brush and/or tree limbs must be no longer than 4 feet in length, 4 inches in diameter, must be bundled, securely tied and not weigh more than 60 pounds each. They will be picked up on regular garbage days.

Until Oct. 31, the Town of Niagara will pick up piles of branches over 5 feet in length. They should be neatly piled by roadside, with cut ends facing the road for the chipper. The town does not pick up tree trunks, roots and stumps. Any trees trimmed or cut by a tree service contractor must be disposed of by the contractor.
