Community leaders will rock for better health
The Auxiliary of Memorial Medical Center will hold its Helen M. Smith Memorial Rock-a-thon from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, April 28, in the hospital's upper lobby.
Members and friends of the Memorial Auxiliary, including elected officials and other community leaders, will rock (in rocking chairs) for half-hour increments to raise money for equipment and programs at Memorial.
Now in its 16th year, the event has raised more than $125,000 for the medical center.
