All-new album marks first since 2013's Grammy-winning 'Overcomer'

First single, 'Unfinished,' hits radio today

Grammy Award winner Mandisa's awaited fifth album, "Out Of The Dark" (Capitol CMG), will arrive on May 19. It's her first album in four years. To date, she has sold more than 1 million records.

Mandisa is back with a renewed passion for her music, after spending much of the past few years suffering from depression. She is emerging from the pit of despair with a willingness to be totally transparent and vulnerable about her journey.

ABC's "Good Morning America" will broadcast the exclusive first television interview and performance with Mandisa on April 26. It's her first in over three years.

"My hope is that people will be on this journey with me," Mandisa said. "When I began, I was in a really dark place, but where I am today is so much better and so much lighter!"

Her first single, "Unfinished," lands at radio today following Mandisa's No. 1 hits "Overcomer" and "Stronger." In the initial track, she sings, "Not scared to say it // I used to be the one  // Preaching it to you  // That you could overcome  // I still believe it  // But it ain't easy  // Cause that world I painted  // Where things just all work out  // It started changing  // And I started having doubts  // And it got me so down."

Mandisa has been traversing 30 arenas across U.S. as part of fellow Grammy winner TobyMac's "HITS DEEP Tour," alongside Matt Maher, Mac Powell from Third Day, Capital Kings, Ryan Stevenson and Hollyn. The tour will wrap on April 9 at Indianapolis' Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

"Out Of The Dark" will be available for pre-order on April 7.

Mandisa is an "American Idol" season five finalist. Her album, "Overcomer," released Aug. 27, 2013, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Christian albums chart. The album's title track proved to be a smash at radio, and Mandisa was awarded a Grammy for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album. Additionally, "Overcomer's" songwriters (David Garcia, Ben Glover and Christopher Stevens) won the Grammy for Best Contemporary Christian Music Song.
