Mr. and Mrs. Eric Boron of Grand Island are delighted to announce the engagement of their daughter, Allison Boron, to David Porter. David is the son of Richard and Deborah Porter of Batavia.
Allison is a 2009 graduate of Grand Island High School. She graduated cum laude from Syracuse University, and has a Masters Degree in literacy education from UB. She is currently employed by the Alexander Central School District, where she teaches kindergarten.
After graduating from Batavia High School, her fiancé, Dave, attended Roberts Wesleyan College, where he earned his B.S. in secondary education. In May, Dave will graduate with a Masters Degree in chemistry education from SUNY Brockport. He is currently employed by the Oakfield Alabama School District, where he teaches high school chemistry.
Friends and family look forward to a July wedding for the happy couple.
